Casey Bennett

Casey is not exactly like other accountants - she believes in working closely with and educating her clients so they are empowered to make informed financial decisions even after her work is done. Her unique perspective on a younger professional generation enables her to bring a more innovative, relatable and hands-on approach to her clients.

She is passionate about sharing her expertise to help companies create a firm finance and accounting framework that will enable them to achieve their short- and long-term goals as an organization.

Casey is knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Denver, followed by her Master’s Degree in Accounting also at DU, she began her accounting career at a large regional public accounting firm in their audit practice. She focused specifically on startups and publicly-traded companies, which gives her unique insight into these types of organizations to this day.

More recently, Casey has worked primarily in the regulated cannabis industry at a young, publicly-traded company. She has relevant experience in internal controls process creation, ERP implementation, monthly close optimization, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, project management, audit prep, and due diligence.
